3rd - 4th passenger price increase?

I have been watching (and getting alerts) to prices for the category cabin I have booked for 4. Today, I did a mock booking for 2 and found that the first and second passenger prices must be down by $50 / person. But when I did I tried for all four, I got a price that was $30 higher than what I paid. I made sure both were Cat 8E. So, I have to assume that they simply lowered the cast for the first two and raised the cost by $65 / person for the 3rd and 4th. Does that happen often?

I imagine if the cabins that hold 3/4 are selling more quickly, the 3rd/4th person prices would go up as well.
