Taxi's are so plentiful (and affordable) that I'm not sure any hotels would bother with shuttles. Maybe someone on here will know of one, but I wouldn't base my decision on that alone. I've stayed at three different hotels in different parts of San Juan, and there was always an abundance of cabs waiting. I'm sure the front desk personel will make sure cab is available whenever needed.

The same goes for the cruise docks and airport. You simply walk out of the airport (or cruise dock), get a taxi ticket from the taxi dispatcher with the price written on it, and they will diirect you into a waiting cab. Quick, easy, and safe.

It will cost you $19 per cab, plus $1 per piece of luggage to and from the airport. The cost from the airport to your hotel will be anywhere from $10 to $19 per cab depending on what zone you stay in.

They can NOT have them, it is against the law. This is to protect the taxi companies. Seriously.

We'll be staying in Old San Juan a few blocks from the pier. Looks like the Free Trolley runs right past our hotel. Is it possible to load up on it for a free lift to the pier?

Nope, no luggage allowed. Just budget for a taxi.
