Milano Hotel?

O.K., I guess I missed out on the Sheraton OSJ (kept waiting for a lower rate) - they say all sold out for the date we need (Jan. 13) - no waiting list - I called directly and they said only chance is to call back closer to cruise time. All websites also say - SOLD OUT.

What do you think of this hotel (Milano) if we want to stay in OSJ? Hopefully someone who has stayed there will respond to this or someone who found availability at the Sheraton closer to cruise date will give us some good info.

Thanks in advance,

Kaye

I havn't stayed there, buy I lived in Old San Juan for 10+ years. Milano is a five year old small inn. It has a rooftop restaurant buy nothing else. It can't compare with the sheraton which is a full service hotel, casino and all. You may try "EL Convento" in Calle del Cristo in Old San Juan is 20 min walk to the pier, closer to the "party" areas in San Sebastian St. El Convento is an old spanish convent in front of the San Juan Cathedral and just 3 min walk to the Governor's residence (La Fortaleza)
