Alaska Cruise - 'ship time' vs. actual 'port time'

We are going on an Alaska cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas July 12. Juneau and Skagway are going to be a one hour time difference (one hour behind Seattle (PST)). Does the ship change time with the time zone while cruising? This is important because we are doing an excursion on our own and I want to make sure we don't get fouled up with ship time vs. port time. I've not cruised Alaska before and I'm not sure how time change works. I know that Caribbean cruises stay on ship time out of embarkation port city and the time change can be as much as 2 hours difference between 'ship time' (itinerary) and actual port time.

 

Itinerary is as follows:

Day 1 Seattle, Washington 4:00 PM

Day 2 Cruising

Day 3 Alaska Inside Passage

Day 3 Juneau, Alaska 11:00 AM 8:00 PM Docked

Day 4 Skagway, Alaska 7:00 AM 8:30 PM Docked

Day 5 Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska 7:00 AM 12:00 PM Cruising

Day 6 Cruising

Day 7 Victoria, British Columbi 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Docked

Day 8 Seattle, Washington 7:00 AM

Yes, the ship will adjust its time to reflect the Alaskan Time Zone. You will gain 1 additional hour after you leave Seattle.
