Oasis of the Seas MDR Food Porn, March 9, 2013 sailing

Recommended Posts

Only 118 days to our next cruise (Celebrity Summit) and I will get to annoy my DW again by taking food porn shots from the Summit.

189 days and I will do the same again on the Independence of the Seas. I am not sure if the waiters give you food that is presented better or cooked better if they see you taking food porn shots and you say that you are going to post them on CruiseCritic, but I thought the presentation and quality on the Oasis, when I did tell the waiter this, was far superior to when I just ate my food like most people, when I was on the Liberty of the Seas. I will continue to put my theory to the test to see if the quality of the food continues as I pull out my trusty camera at the dinner table.

I'm so happy to have found this thread through Google! Thanks to the OP for taking the time to do this.

Am I correct in assuming these menus are still in action on Allure? I know the formal night is different depending on the itinerary.

Nice to have seem my original thread I started here is still being viewed. After 50 weeks away from RCCL, we sail her again on the Independence 2 weeks today. I just hope that I am as happy with the food and service on the Independence as I was as on the Oasis. Maybe I will even take some more photos again to post here once again...

I've always found the MDR food to be very good to excellent, as well. Thanks for posting pics of some new things to try.

You are welcome. It is nice to sit with a large group of people who are trying different items. Not only can you take photos of all of the items that way without having to order and eat all of them, but if I see something someone says is really good, I just ask my waiter to "Bring me one of those too."
