Best Free Beach in La Romana close to port?Either walkable distance from the dock or short taxi ride?

Hi michelle, I would recommend Bayahibe but it's a 20 min taxi. You can see threads with taxi prices ipin the La Romana furum or on the Bayahibr forum on Trip Advisor. I would actually recommend the Saona Island excursion with Seavis, one of our best excursions ever. Not free but...
