Using paypal to load s&s card

I have dollars in my paypal account. I live in the UK and don't have a US bank account. To avoid fees from paypal can I use paypal to buy cruise credits for my s&s card?

Do you have a PayPal debit card? I used mine to preload my S&S to pay for the party we had in the rollcall.

No, I can't get one as you have to live in the states to get one. :( I searched the carnival site and can't find anything about paypal.

eta, found the site and they DON'T accept paypal for payment.

 

Do you have a friend in the states that you trust to send your paypal funds to that could then use a credit card to purchase gift cards/e-certificates for you?

I don't know. I tried to test it by putting some in the basket but it kept erroring and did not allow me to go past the second page.

 

Just wondered if anyone had noticed it as an option for paying.

Our posts must have crossed. Not really, I have a brother but sadly would not trust him with my money. Oh well I will just have to pay the fees and change it into pounds.

 

I wonder why carnival don't take paypal, it would be very easy to add it on as a payment method.
