CD on the Radiance of the Seas - Matt Sole

We were on the Radiance last week, and the CD was Matt Sole. He was very good, we were impressed with his singing ability. He really rocked the house when he was singing rock and roll with the band after the Quest. I read a post by a CD on another ship, Marc Walker, who said that Matt Sole had been on "American Idol". Anyone know if this is true?? I tried to check the past AI websites but couldn't find Matt anywhere. Even googled him, and couldn't come up with anything. Anyone know?

Don't know if Matt has been on AI. He was on the Esplorer with us last year and, from what he told me, he's been on RCI ships pretty steadily. Did you buy his CD?

 

We made friends with melissa - the girl who sang with him. Wjat a voice from a little girl. She's 23 and had been singing with RCI since she was 19.

 

Lots of talent onboard, no?

Were you talking about Matt the cruise director or Matt in the show - i.e The Piano Man?

I met Matt Sole on the Monarch. He was taking over for Mark Walker. Great guy. What about Gordon who had been on the Radiance?
