If you want an opinion..I would get neither. If you have not been to London before, and you will only have two days to see London I would stya in London,do the Hop/on Hop/Off bus tour for the 2 days as you will be taken to all the major sights and can then see what you want and get another bus after that.A lot of the sights are within walking distance of each other as well, and by using the bus tour you will not need to use the tube either. If you want to use the tube just get a day pass. Two days in London is not enough time to warrant any kind of pass IMHO.You can get a 2 days pass for the Hop on's.Look at the brochures at the hotel and see which one would be best for your needs, then just buy your ticket on the bus. There are stops all over the city.Great way to see London.

We just got home from London on Saturday night after spending three days. Not sure what the cost of those passes are you are asking about. But, every day we bought a one day travelcard for 4.50 pounds apiece from the newspaper shop across the street from Victoria Station (I'm sure they sell them other places). Anyway it allowed us unlimited riding on the buses and the tube. It also gave us a discount when we bought tickets at Waterloo train station for Windsor and we only paid 5 pounds 20 for our round trip tickets - after 10:00 am to Windsor Castle. Hope this helps.
