Alaska Snorkelling

Thanks mattie00 and geekypenguin for your recent reports - did you go straight back to the ship to shower and change and then go back out into Ketchikan? Or where there showering facilities right there? I am booked and ready to go and can't wait!

The showers are an outdoor shower - we all rinsed off still in our bathing suits. I felt plenty clean after that so we went back to the ship and ate lunch, then I headed into town to shop. I hope you have a blast!

We did the exact same thing only we had a snack in town at Fish Pirates right across from the pier.:D

I would suggest that you look at the weather policy for snorkeling. We did it years ago in Sitka. It was pouring rain. We could not see much the skys were too dark and it was a little choppy. They would not cancel the trip due to rain. Because we had paid our $$ we went snorkeling but did not enjoy it.
