To those that have cruised Carnival & Celebrity

I have never experienced this, but we do always book a cabin on a higher deck aft. Maybe this poster was on one of the lower decks... When I see this posted from time to time, I wonder the same thing. Then again, I also do not travel during the summer when more kids would be on board... This behavior sounds more like 18-21 Frat boys than anything. Once again- I have never experience this, but threw quite an outragious party on my Celebrity cruise in my cabin.... We had crew and passengers since that was the only way to have a little fun, but annoyed alot of others unfortunately.. Believe me, it doesn't matter what cruiseline you are on!

We were in a suite on the Empress deck, 7317. But, there are lots of inside cabins on this deck. This was my first Carnival cruise in probably 10 years and I have a very different perspective now. I used to be one of those drunk people (although I think I always had respect for others when walking the hallways, at least I hope I did!)

On the Summit there was a great night life. We would leave the disco around 1 and it was still going full force. Each cruise is different, but overall Carnival is a big party scene and if that's what you want its great, but I really dont see how its for families with young children.

We were also on this cruise and experienced the same problem with loud/drunk people in the hallways in the wee hours (we were on the Panorama deck). We also had to walk around a guy passed out in the hallway outside the casino during the early afternoon hours. Fortunately, we didn't let these incidents bother us too much and went on to have a fun cruise.

That is such a shame to hear, but I'm guessing you will see this on any vacation. I just have never experienced it. We did have quite a few passed out IN our cabin on the Mercury, but I'm hoping we kept the halls free of bodies :)

We went on the Conquest in Febuary this year. We LOVED it. It was our first cruise, so nothing to compare it to. But we did book again on it as soon as we got home. From what we see in this thread, we are glad we did. :)
