steffo101 Posted April 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Hello all, I came back from a carnival trip a few weeks ago and I really love to concept of crousing:) Now I am preparing a crouse in the autum with my son (17 years) and daughter (18) over the atlantic and maybe with the Cunard - We did not use any of the "fun things - like playing pools and such" on the Carnival but we really enjoyed the seated dinnar and also seated breakfast/lunch. Så, how dressed up do we need to be on a cunard? - Carnival was lower than I expected hence slight dissapointment. We are not formal pepol, so will a ordinary business suite fit for dinnar(and a proper jacket on son) most of the time? Is the difference to Carnivl huge in this area? The carnival level of elegance was shorts, basket shoes and sleeved T-shirts, I was not impressed.... but being our first cruise I was afride we would stick out as "under-dressed".. we didn't.. MadScientist_01 Posted April 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2013 A suit will do just fine. And there is plenty to do for all ages - no rock-walls or flo-riders but it sounds as if you aren't after that so I'm sure you'd love it
