Carnival Miracle Ship Time

I tried searching the boards, but was coming up blank.

For those of you who have cruised the Miracle recently................

Does the time on the ship stay the same when we leave Tampa? Does it change in certain ports?

Working our our last minute details before we cruise next week and DH needs to know this info for work.

Your answers are truly appreciated!!

Thanks for the quick reply!!

Just one other ?

What is the time difference in Belize? If we dock there at 7:30, what time is it really there?

I have a cavetubing excursion booked at 9:00; is this 9:00 ship time or Belize time?? LOL

Currently the time is two hours behind ship time. THey are on central time zone and do not recognize daylight savings time. If you booked with the ship its 9am ship time- If you booked with a tour -- more thenlikely its 11am ship time. If using a guide then please verify that time. It takes about 20 minutes or so to tender into belize since the ship anchors about 9 miles off shore.

The tour guides are very well aware of the ship schedules, they know what time the ships arrive and what time their tours have to be finished.

We booked cave tubing with Reggie, and he waited for all his booked guests to arrive before starting off on the tour. of course, they can only wait up to a point, because they have to have you back in time to catch the tender.

In our case, he was very accomodating. asked us what time we wanted to be back (for shopping etc), and thats how he figured out how late he could wait for everyone to arrive.

We left for the tour in his bus at about 10 am (ship time) and were back about 3 pm, leaving an hour to shop at the port stores.

it was a really neat excursion too!
