pcruz4ever Posted June 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2005 I'm on the Carnival Legend in November, going to Belize, Panama, and Costa Rica. Given the amount of time the excursions take, it seems I'll only be able to do one in each port. So, for those of you who have been to these ports before (they're all new to me), what is an absolute "Don't miss" in each? Just as a guideline, I'm not quite up to the zip-line tour, but I can certainly do more than just sit in a bus and look out the window!! Thanks. snista Posted June 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2005 In Belize the cave tubing is amazing. Do not book through Carnival though. I highly recommend coral breeze.

TX Dawg Posted June 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2005 We just got back from the Elation yesterday. We went cave tubing in Belize. We booked with cave-tubing.com. They were GREAT!! We had lots of children with us and the owner Yhoney hired extra people to help because of the children! It was fabulous!:)
pcruz4ever Posted June 22, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted June 22, 2005 Is there time to do both cave tubing and shark/stingray snorkel? How long does each take if you go through independent company rather than cruiseline?
Grayce Posted June 22, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2005 I went with the Carnival excursion for the shark/stingray swim and it was an all day excursion. You wouldn't have time to do both if you book through Carnival.
AppleValleyCruisers Posted June 22, 2005 #7 Share Posted June 22, 2005 PC- Take a gander at the port of call boards. I found a lot of great info on those, and actually decided against an excursion and it's operator based on several negative reviews. Have a wonderful cruise!!!!
