in a deluxe cabin (now Pinnacle) and also when I asked our room steward to deliver it daily. I always tip at the start of the cruise to get these little extras even when in a balcony cabin.

If you are interested in doing this on a regular basis, have one of the DRMs send the menu to your cabin daily.

 

Personally, I would not recommend eating a full dinner unless I were in a SS or higher cabin. The smaller cabins just are not large enough to fully enjoy a complete dinner.
