tsj Posted May 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Is it possible? A couple people in our party are terrified of chair lifts, can we get there without riding the lift?
patticake1961 Posted May 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2013 I'd love to know the answer to this also, I'm going with my Mom & she has some mobility issues. I also wonder if any of the tour operator can drive up there.
Bookmarker Posted May 27, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2013 The only way to the top is via the chair lift.
welldone60 Posted June 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2013 We saw a gal in a wheelchair at the top. Don't know how she got up there. I think I would call them and ask.
RGCruise Posted June 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2013 There is an off road to get there but arrangements would have to be made to see if they will allow visitors to use it.
patticake1961 Posted June 18, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2013 Thank you welldone60..... I emailed them and they CAN accommodate wheelchairs! I also read a great review on Trip Advisor about a couple that went up there with a wheelchair. Now I'm getting very excited about my visit to Ocho Rios in October!
