I just got back from cruising on the paradise (carnival) & had a wonderful drink called Caribbean Breeze. I'd love to know exactly what & how much is in that drink! Boy were they tasty! :)

Caribbean Breeze

Another wonderful fruity drink

1 fluid ounce bacardi spiced rum

1/4 fluid ounce de kuyper creme de banane

1/4 fluid ounce de kuyper apricot brandy

1 fluid ounce orange juice

1 fluid ounce pineapple juice

3/4 fluid ounce coconut cream

1/4 fluid ounce grenadine

Blend all ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with pineapple slice.

It does sound a little sweet, but I never pass up on the drink of the day. When I'm on vacation, I'm not on-call. The hospital (where I manage an NICU) can't page the ship. I also don't tell them what ship I'm on. On my next cruise, I will be enjoying as many foo-foo drinks as I please. Thanks to gypsyrose for the website. I book-marked it!

 

Less than six weeks to go, and I'll be enjoying Alaskan beer on our first Alaskan cruise :D

If only I could cruise every other month! The hospital owns my soul and I want it back! At least they pay me well enough to do two cruises a year. Goodbye stress and hello Alaska!!!;)
