Dan's The Man

If you follow CC, you know that Dan O'Brien is a great roll call organizer. He is also a gentleman with whom traveling is a delight. If you are going on the Rotterdam transatlantic, do join his roll call. Unfortunately, the brainyblondes have taken this crossing three times. (It is a no brainer for Floridians who want to go to or from Europe.)

The Spanish ports are wonderful, good time of year to visit them. Spain is a big country (we lived in Madrid), cruising is an efficient way to see the important cities other than Madrid.

I regret, Dan, not this time. We may join Rhoda and Doug in the Orient, if we can iron out all the details. Otherwise we may just been in the back of a jeep staring down lions.

Thanks for the kind comments, Barbara. The April 6, 2014 transatlantic is on the Ryndam out of FLL.

Where are these lions you mention?

Have enjoyed several cruises with Dan and Barbara and agree with BrainyBlonde. Will check out that itinerary. If it goes to Madiera I might be tempted.

Hi Jane!

The Itinerary is:

Ponta Delgada,

Malaga,

Cartagena,

Ibiza,

Palma De Mallorca,

Barcelona,

Valencia,

Alicante,

Motril,

Gibraltar,

Cadiz,

Lisbon,

A Coruna,

Bilbao,

Portland,

Dover

Along with 11 sea days. Definitely a Spanish flavor. No Mediera but there is Ponta Delgada and Palma de Mallorca. There is a good chance that Woody and Suzanne will be sailing with us. Come on along!:)
