Global/European Beer Tasting?

I did ask this in another thread, but included in a bunch of other questions and with a general question header, so no one with an answer saw it. Forgive me posting again, but I'd really love to know...

 

I see a Global Beer Tasting and a European Beer Tasting on the Dailies for the ship I'll be on (Dawn to Bermuda). Either one of these worth it? My husband doesn't like bottom rung beer choices and has enjoyed beers he's gotten while traveling in Europe, in general. What is the opinion on these tastings? Do beer aficionados find them worthwhile or not?

It seems that your husband enjoys quality beers. Sadly nothing found on a cruise ship falls into that category. Look upon it as a fun thing, a way to spend an hour or so and nothing more. JMHO
