Crazy ? about TV's

Recommended Posts

1-Can we plug our portable DVD player into the TV?:o

2-Crazy question, If we can't do the above, can we have the TV taken out of our cabin and plug in our small LCD TV or laptop?

I know, why would anyone bring a TV? A "practical interface" as DH puts it.

All answers are appreciated.

I know this is a VERY goofy question. Thanks for your patience.:)

Yes. Legend, which is a Spirit Class ship has a/v jacks on the TV.

Thanks for your reply.

I could not remember if the Glory had the a/v jacks.

I have been reading that A/V jacks have been disabled, on some (or all???) boats (somehow-or-the-other)

I don't think they'd remove the TV from the Glory, as the Glory uses an interactive service that lets you book excursions, check the dinner menu and your account balance, and so on. I'm guessing they'd probably want to make sure you have that capability, whether you want it or not. ;)

As for A/V jacks, sorry, never looked at it that closely.

I didn't know the Spirit Class ships had it. I'm thought all ships had no jacks.

I know the Glory doesn't unless they got new TV's.

I also don't think you will be able to disconnect the TV, you might be able to I never tried it.

The tv's are bolted in so you aren't going to be able to move them. As for av jacks I'm really not sure didn't look that closely I wouldn't be suprised if they weren't there or didn't work cause our TV in our stateroom had a mind of its own. We'd be looking at something and the volume would turn up really loud on it's own then get super soft. Sometimes the tv even would turn on and off by itself and whenever there was a ship announcement it muted and switched to a certain channel.

Sounds like there are ghosts on the ship, to me!:D

I guess I will take the laptop and A/V cord.

Thanks for the info to all who posted.

Happy sailing.:)
