Freedom of the Seas nursery hours

Someone posted the kiddie compass and it showed the royal nursery having hours from 9-12 daily except for the nighttime care of course. However, when we were on the allure the hours were much better allowing us to have some pool time or an excursion on our own. These hours don't seem to allow for that? Just seems crazy to me that those are the only available hours. We absolutely don't plan on leaving our child there all day by any means but I just think the hours could be a better variety. Is it based on need? Does anyone know if the nursery will open for more hours based on need/occupancy? I guess we are doing room service for lunch while the little one naps!
