Egan Convention Center transfer question-Princess

We are to meet our bus transfer at thr Egan Center in Anchorage to get to Whittier to board our Princess ship. Just curious how the process works.Do they do the "check-in" paperwork for the cruise there or do you stand in lines both at the convention center and when you get to the crusise?

We're also after info about Princess transfers in Alaska. We'll possibly be doing a Princess Tour/Transfer from Whittier to Anchorage, do they use the Egan Center on W 5th Ave to drop people off in Anchorage, we'll be staying for 1 night before we fly back to the UK.
