Reservations with AutoProgresso

I've been reading about reserving a tour with AutoProgresso online and waiting until you are in port to pay for the tour. I tried to make reservations online but if I don't select payment via either PayPal or credit card, I can't make a reservation. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks to all responders!

We have never made reservations in advance with AP and never had a problem. We have always booked with them at either where we gotten on the pier bus or where we got off it. If you are worried that it might sell out, just get off the ship early and get your tickets.

I read that it usually isn't a problem...I just seem to have rotten luck with things like that. Thanks!
