Is this normal? (re: category $ changes)

We booked our Alaskan cruise on Solstice for next summer a couple weeks ago. In the past week, the price went up and then came back down a bit. Now I know THAT is normal...

But, what I find weird is that our cabin category 2A is now more expensive than 1b, 1a, SV, C3, and C2. An A2 is only $20 more. (It isn't worth for me to change because the overall price of cruise has gone up). So is it normal to see categories go for more than others in this way?

Sometimes, a balcony is CHEAPER than an inside cabin, it doesn't make sense unless you realize they are trying to fill certain categories. It's all marketing, marketing, marketing like everything else I suppose.
