I personally would recommend the ship tour for Pearl Harbor. You get a narrated tour of the city along the way. Another alternative is renting a car.

Can I suggest - take your grandmother out to one of the nice swanky restaurants in Waikiki. I would suggest one of the following - Halekulani "Orchids Restaurant" for their Classic Afternoon Tea, or "House without a key" Restaurant (Halekaulani)

 

Or try the "Verandah Restaurant" at the Moana Surfrider Hotel, and again you could try their afternoon or lunches.

 

Life is too short not to enjoy some of life's pleasures & share them with friends and family.
