Carnival Freedom - How bright is the aft??

I noticed on previous cruises that the balcony lights do not always work; I think perhaps when the ship is sailing. Reading on the balcony at night was impossible.

Our next sailing is on the Freedom September 15th. We've booked an aft-wrap balcony. This time I'll have my Kindle so reading won't be an issue, but I did wonder if it was any brighter on the aft of the ship from running lights or whatever.

Anyone know???

Happy Cruising!

We have had the aft-wrap on freedom last year and aft ext balcony on conquest this year. We had balcony lights on freedom but the lights would not come on this year. Regardless - it is still very nice sitting on balcony late at night - if it is full moon still plenty of light. As you said-you now have a Kindle so reading will not be a problem.
