KevinsCruising Posted July 29, 2013 #26 Share Posted July 29, 2013 The Gem is our favorite ship out of all the ships we have sailed. We cannot wait until we sail her again. Thanks for the review. Would love to see some pictures if you can post them :D
callmebetty Posted July 30, 2013 Author #27 Share Posted July 30, 2013 tee- glad you got an answer. Kevin- I took just about 98% video this time around. As soon as DH and I watch the video together first, I will upload it and extract some still shots. Just had my first shift bar tending since being back. It really is much more fun to be on the other side of the bar (the side with the stools and drunk people) and reminds me just how much tips are appreciated but the bar and wait staff! I am 7% of the way to paying for our April cruise though...now I just have to finish paying of last weeks lol! I will post more details in the review that come to mind tomorrow. I am sure I missed some!
Cruslvr81 Posted August 2, 2013 #28 Share Posted August 2, 2013 Do you remember what 2 times the main show was each night. I am going next month and would like to reserve my dinners. Thanks.
gkwan99 Posted August 2, 2013 #29 Share Posted August 2, 2013 They were either 7 & 9pm; or 730 & 930pm depending on the day. There was one show (do not recall which one at the moment) that only had one showing (early time). We always ate at 530pm in order to barely make the first show. Fastest we ever got done with dinner was 1 hour. Most of the time in was 1hr 15min because of the speed of service.
