If you could design your own Carnival ship...

How would you do it, and what would it look like? What would you name it? How many decks would it have? Pools? waterslides? A LAZY RIVER??? (I would do this). Along with WCMC available 24/7. :o ...Would the decor be over the top, or toned down? Just curious bc of the several threads on the new freedom overhaul and Sunshine.

Ready?! GO!!:)

The lazy river sounds cool though it seems like it would be hard to keep clean. i'd like a more upscale look versus the glitzy, tacky look. I think the Oasis has just about everything I could think to add.

That's good to hear! I'm excited to try Oasis..

Yes, the lazy river might b difficult, but I think it would be SO fun!

Thanks for posting:)

I'm astonished no one has any thoughts. Usually, ppl are lining up to talk about what they would change, or do differently.

CC is a confusing place sometimes.

My ship would be called, Carnival Serenity.... Totally peaceful colors, subdued decor. It would have mostly balcony cabins, think Spirit class), and feature walls of windows to look out on the ocean in both of the dinning rooms. I would have a lido pool, that was an adequate size, a lazy river, and of course a HUGE Serenity area, with another indoor/outdoor pool. I would also have Cabanas in that area, for pax to reserve daily or weekly during their cruise.

The waterslide(s) would take the place of miniature golf, and there would be at least 2 or 3.

lazy river sounds good .. I think a room that is a tad bigger, bigger tv's ... more or bigger pools on board. Updated decor. Better BV prices. And hold people accountable for their wardrobe!

These are all great things. Yes!! Bigger rooms/bathrooms for all!

Wardrobe accountability for sure

It would be named the Carnival Passion. It would have a roller skating rink (quad skates, no in-lines), bigger swimming pools, HOT hot tubs and it would have an AI option:D to include EVERYTHING.

ohhhh AI option a must!!

Starry night theme. Lots of single cabins with prices to match. Bathtubs instead of showers. Mini-fridge. Lots of Windows with window seats. Smoke-free casino with loose slots. Seven decks lots of balconies one MDR that won't break up the decks.

I would call it Carnival Sunset

1) 3-4 Big pools (one of which would be a wave pool and a large slide, one full size )

2) A laser quest

3) No casino (thats where the laser quest would be)

4) No smoking anywhere apart from a small deck on aft

5) A wide selection of specialty food resturants (Thai, mexican, greek)

6) Luxury cabins would have own hot tubs

7) All cabins have baths

8) Enforce black tie formal nights for at least one evening

9) Hot food room service

10) A 'main stage' on the lido back that had live bands rotating throughout 12pm-9pm

11) A proper wine bar with a sommelier and wine tasting

12) Fencing (I hear Cunard do this and I love fencing)

13) Real cider onboard

14) A ball and sponge pit for adults and kiddies

A very tasteful cream and Olive green theme throughout with classic wood paneling effects to give a feel of luxury. Ceilings to have tasteful sistine chapel style artwork and coving on them. Cabins olive green with tasteful wood effect furniture and white bathrooms.

(No vegas style or glass crystal steps anywhere and also no Butlins holiday blue/yellow either)

I like a lot of these!! Especially the artwork and color. Carnival Sunset has a nice ring too!

I'd keep the mini golf, I think.

I'd also add a golf driving range and skeet shooting off the back.

The Lido dining options would be open all day, no "closing" at 2:30 or 6:00 nonsense. If I want a Guys Burger at midnight, I shall have it.

There would be steel drum music not a DJ by the pool.

The cigar bar would be expanded but enclosed, and would actually allow smoking cigars.

Piano bar would have two pianos and would be turned into a Dueling Pianos show set up.
