Just back from Millenium Transatlantic

We have just returned from the 25th April sailing and before we left I promised to answer a few questions from UK cruisers.

A while ago there were a few posts which stated that UK residents could not book Celebrity cruises with agencies outwith the UK. We did book with CruiseQuick and paid in dollars. We had no problem at checkin and when we spoke to a check in clerk about this they said it is not a problem but just be aware that the booking is under the regulations of the US. She also told us to be very wary of any discounts given.

So it seems that you can still shop around for the best deal and go for it.

It is nice to hear that some one has now done it without problems. A RCCL/Cele insider gave us the tip a couple of weeks after it was posted here that that policy had very quitely been stopped. US TAs must have made quite a fuss as that is losts of money for them........
