Cars in Hawaii

I will be on the Pride of America this Aug...I have rented cars in Maui and Kauai...I intend to keep them overnight. Does anyone know what the overnight parking situation is like in these 2 places? Thanks....

Others have posted that you can park on the road in Maui outside where the ship for free; in Kauai I believe they said it is $10 to park outside where the ship is docked.

Just back from P.O.A. Maui parking is free. Maybe 100 yards from the cruise

ship, however, parking is limited. You will not find a spot if you stay out late

during your overnight in Maui. We simply parked prior to dinner then walked to

shops, movies etc.

Correct it is still $10.00 as of last week. Maybe a city block walk.
