Waverunners

We are going on the AOS 7/24. Doing the Aruba, St. Marten, St. THomas route. Which of these islands is the best place to rent waverunners. I have two teens, and they will both want to rent them. Which island offers more economical rentals? Thanks,

You could rent them at Great Bay beach on St. Maarten which was right near where the ship docks. It was $40 per 1/2 hour in Jan 04. I don't think much has changed. You can also rent them at Orient Beach as well I think for the same price. I didn't rent on St. Thomas so can't compare.

Maureen, we were just on the 6-26-2005 sailing of AOS. My son and I rented waverunners in Aruba, on Eagle Beach. The cost for each was $55 for a 1/2 hour, which from my experience is pretty much the going rate in resort areas. If you wanted to put a passenger on with the driver the rate went to $65 The guys I rented from were very good to deal with and the machines were in excellent shape. They were just set up in a little beach shack.
