MichelleP Posted July 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2005 I see on the Carnival site under "shore excursions" that Chichen Itza is offered as an excursion from Cozumel. Seeing as how this is listed as a 12-hour excursion, I'd imagine it's not offered on every visit to Cozumel. How long does the ship need to be in port for this excursion to be offered? We're looking at the Inspiration 4-day out of Tampa. It stays in Cozumel from 7 a.m. to midnight. That ought to be enough time for them to offer Chichen Itza, right?

Cuts the time in 1/2!!!! They got back and had time for the afternoon in Cozumel!!! It gets you there before the crowds and the heat!!!!
MichelleP Posted July 6, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted July 6, 2005 Thanks! Sounds like a good idea, but my husband has a fear of flying, which is why we want to stick to the official Carnival shore excursion.
