CruisinBrills Posted October 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2013 I am trying to find out what the hair dryers are like on the Dawn. Are they good or do I need to bring my own? Thanks. Diane
sdmike Posted October 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2013 There are good hair dryers on NCL ships There seems to be a run on hair dryer threads the last few days, with several active ones on the first couple of pages. Here are a few. There's also info on how to use the search function in my signature area http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1925586 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1900705 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1523834 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1903056 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1919438 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1613207
Reebster Posted October 9, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2013 I was on the Dawn two weeks ago, and the hair dryer was great. I had packed my own (I'm very particular,) but never used it because the ship dryer worked so well.
Talus731 Posted October 9, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Last April I found the hair dryer on the Dawn to be better the the hair dryer in the hotel we stayed at. You should be fine.

DaisyGoldberg Posted October 13, 2013 #6 Share Posted October 13, 2013 Hair dryers on Dawn (suite) and POA (balcony) both excellent. I discovered several days in that the lower setting is closer to the power I have at home and easier to style. The high setting is strong, so if your hair is long/thick it should work great. I imagine it would also be quite effective for drying out any clothies you wash in the sink ;)
