Chlorine reaction

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I. Wondered if anyone who's been on the Celebration has had a reaction to the chlorination on board? The doctor advised me that there had been a lot of problems with the chlorine in the shower and swimming pool water - itching burning skins and sore eyes etc. I went on the ship months ago and am still suffering but Thomson say have had no complaints about this.

I met a few people who had suffered and thought I might not be the only one complaining.

the pools are small and heavily chlorinated, they are also filled with sea(salt) water, it strips away people sun cream/deodorant/lynx etc

(not many people shower before getting in the pool)

you can often see a slight film forming on the surface by the end of the day, if its a hot day you can often see a white crust forming near the edges of the pools where wet footprints evaporate away to leave a?....residue?....if you have sensitive skin or are sensitive to these products....I would advise not staying in the pools for to long
