We are overnighting in San Juan before our upcoming Valor cruise and we are thinking we'll check out of our hotel and drop our luggage at the Valor around 10AM, then catch the trolley to spend the day visting San Juan. Will head back to the ship 3-4PM to get checked in and cleand up for dinner. Anybody know if they will allow us to leave our luggage at the ship that early?

Cruised this in January and we were at the ship at 10:00 and were the first handful in line. Able to check in an hour or 2 after that and right onto the ship. Ate lunch and room was ready about 1:30 to drop our bags off at. Got right off the ship and explored PR. Was soooo smooth!! Don't know if you can just leave your luggage unless you just have "checked" and not carry-ons. Maybe someone else would know. But it went so smooth being the first couple people checked in and onto the ship being there that early! Worth it!

You probably can 10-1015.

We plan to be there around 10:00am also. We have FTTF and an excursion booked for 1:00pm so I hope we can get on and off in time.

Thanks all - I hadn't thought about our carry-on's - may need to reconsider our strategy as I don't want to pay for FTTF or wait to get checked in and board. Just want to dump the luggage, visit old san jaun then get checked in and board in the late afternoon.

Good wine ideas in the link by laurmac!
