Which ship to take?

Hello all,

 

I'm looking to do another cruise in Feb 2007 and I have a few questions.

 

1) Which ship should I take, and which ones should I avoid. I've only been on 2 cruises, 1 Carnival (Paradise) and 1 Celebrity (Galaxy). I found them both to be great cruises...didn't find them that much different actually. Anyway, I want to do a caribbean cruise with a bunch of my family and want to pick a good ship. I guess this is hard to figure out since cruise employee's move ships all the time. But any info you can give me would be great.

 

2) My wife and I may have a little Bambini by then (baby). By that time he or she should be just about a year old. What are people's experiences with bringing a baby on a cruise or do you just try to avoid it? I'm bringing other family members so taking care of him/her shouldn't be too tough. What are the costs of bringing a child?

I don't know if the size of the ship is a factor, but we have sailed the Imagination twice and it was great both times. We would highly recommend it to anyone.:)
