LakeMomNY Posted December 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2013 I'm sure this has been covered somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Planning to do 2 nights in the steakhouse, plus Chef's table, and I need to figure out which nights to reserve! Thanks!
LakeMomNY Posted December 4, 2013 Author #2 Share Posted December 4, 2013 Also, if anyone knows which day menu 8 generally gets rotated in... Thanks!
LUPY48 Posted December 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2013 You won't find out what night Chef's Table is until you are on board. You will receive info in you stateroom.
LakeMomNY Posted December 4, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted December 4, 2013 Right, but I figured that they do it on the same night each cruise and someone who has done the 8 night Bahamas itinerary might know which night that was!
PortSideCruzan Posted December 4, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) Hi Lakemom :) One never knows which evening the chef table will take place, or if a 2nd chef table will be added if the demand is warranted. Or even if the chef table will take place at all. It's easier to eliminate the evenings the chef table will typically not take place. Such as the first evening, formal/elegant evenings, and most likely the last evening of your voyage. Note: The chef table can certainly take place during a port day. Guest services (may) be able to let you know which evening the chef table will take place when you board, however that is highly doubtful. Two aspects that are certain is; you will be notified as to which evening the chef table will be, and the chef will locate you a day or two prior to the dinner to find out if you have any allergies or particular foods you cannot consume. Sorry I could not help you further. But many issues are to be considered and factored in regarding the chef table. There are no set scheduled days the chef table is held, no matter how routine a certain ship's itinerary is. It's a wonderful mouth watering experience. Our chef table aboard the Splendor lasted almost four hours. Was a terrific experience. Enjoy! :) Edited December 4, 2013 by PortSideCruzan
LakeMomNY Posted December 4, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted December 4, 2013 My daughter and I did the Chef's Table on Glory this summer. We really enjoyed it. This cruise will just be my husband and I, so it will be his first time. I guess I'll just have to guess which 2 nights to make Steakhouse reservations! I had hoped to spread out the "nicer" dinners.
