just a quick question. Is there space under the beds to put 2 large suitcases or is it normally a tight squeeze to put any underneath

We've been able to fit 2 large suitcases along with 2 carry-on size suitcases under the bed while traveling on Princess ships including the Ruby. I don't remember there being any tight squeeze.

Sometimes, it is a squeeze but if it is, I just open the suitcase and slide it in that way. If all else fails, you can either store it in the closet (which is a large open area) or ask your steward to store it for you.

The only time we had a problem getting suitcases under the bed, the steward was storing unused duvets under there. We had him remove the bag of duvets, and there was plenty of room for all of our cases.

Just off the Ruby - had a balcony room on Aloha Deck.

 

We could only fit one underneath as there were a lot of things under our bed. However the closet area was HUGE and our other two bags fit nicely on the shelf overhead after I emptied them.

 

We didn't hardly use all the storage space we had. We were very happy with our room - I think we'll try to book these from now on. Aloha Deck seems to be unpopular and was nice and quiet.
