milanojosh Posted December 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2013 I sailed an NCL cruise over New Year's Eve years ago and they adjusted the weekly happenings so that "formal night" conveniently coincided with New Year's Eve. Anyone have more recent experience with this that can speak to whether or not they still do this (generally)? We are sailing next week and are wondering how many "dressed up" evenings there will actually be (not that there is an expectation to dress up on New Year's Eve, we just plan to). Happy Holidays, all!
kapear Posted December 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 25, 2013 New Year's Eve was a "formal" night when we sailed the Star last year over the holiday. There was a balloon drop in the atrium at midnight.
