Little Bay Beach

Has anyone been to this beach on the Dutch side? If we take a taxi there, will it be difficult to get one to bring us back to the ship? How far is it from where the ships dock?

Also, can we use the beach if we don't stay at their resort?

Thanks for you help!!

Beaches in St. Maarten/St Martin are all public. Little Bay has 2 resorts. Divi allows people on its property and rents chairs and sells food and drinks to them. It takes about 10 minutes by taxi to get there. They will call a taxi for you at the resort to get back to the pier. The beach is fine for a couple of hours. Pretty view but not the islands finest. Great to go to if combined with a lunch, shopping day in Philipsburg or with a half day excursion IMO anyways. For a beach day look into Mullet, Le Galion, Simpson Bay, Orient or Grand Case. Have a great day on the island.
