4merlurker Posted January 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Just looked into buying cruise cash for DH & I on our upcoming cruise. Will it apply to the final bill no matter which S&S card is used? I don't want to lose any $ if one of us doesn't charge as much as the other. rockbock Posted January 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Go to casino on last day and put your S&S into a slot machine. Transfer whatever leftover cash you don't want to lose to a casino account. Bring card to casino desk and cash it out. You don't have to actually play the slots. yhdmommy Posted January 1, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2014 If you've set up the S&S accounts with the same credit card, then yes, it goes to the final bill. Otherwise, since it is purchased against the reservation #, it would be split if you were to use different credit cards for the S&S accounts. SweetPea0517 Posted January 1, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2014 I know the original question is different from mine but I wanted to ask: Can you use your sign & sail card in the casino if you settle your account with a charge card? I thought it was cash only in the casino, if we can tack our casino spending on the sign & sail then this would allow us to use our cash on island shopping more. Then we can pay the charge card bill once it comes at home.

Once it's set up you can use your S&S card to put money in your Casino bank, when you cash out I believe the Casino pays you in cash. GO MIZZOU!!!!!!! SweetPea0517 Posted January 1, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Thanks Nitro! Will they process the transaction as a cash advanced?
SweetPea0517 Posted January 1, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 1, 2014 I should have clarified process the casino portion as a cash advance.
marlynnp Posted January 1, 2014 #11 Share Posted January 1, 2014 I should have clarified process the casino portion as a cash advance. No, it's just another line on your bill and is shown as entertainment. Casino draws are not separated from all the other charges and you'll just have one "purchase" on your credit card at the end of your trip.
Rena921 Posted January 1, 2014 #12 Share Posted January 1, 2014 I should have clarified process the casino portion as a cash advance. No it does not, It falls under the category of "entertainment". Doing this will also save on ATM fees should you need cash during the cruise.
okgirl Posted January 1, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 1, 2014 If you are putting money in your players bank from your S&S account you do need to spin the reels a time or two or the system will block you from further play until you have the casino cage unlock it. It's not at all uncommon for people to get their gambling cash this way but the casino doesn't really want to be obviously used as a substitute ATM. Keep in mind also that your Players Bank and your S&S account are really separate. So you can't take your S&S card to guest services to pay down your S&S balance with the money you've accumulated in your Players bank. You need to get the cash at the casino cage and then go pay down your S&S account.
