cruisentn Posted January 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2014 Someone mentioned that was good to do as an excursion if it's just two people. Is it just a little cabin? What beach is it on? Thanks.
cb at sea Posted January 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2014 A "cabinette" is simply one of those canvas shades....sort of like the top of a baby carriage.....2 loungers fit inside. There's really no need to pay for shade....trees abound and you can move loungers anywhere you want!
Clarea Posted January 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2014 Someone mentioned that was good to do as an excursion if it's just two people. Is it just a little cabin? What beach is it on? Thanks. Last September the Cabinettes were in an area called Barefoot Beach. They cost $50 total, and were a clamshell type umbrella structure. Barefoot Beach is a long walk from the tender/lunch area, so they give you a ride back and forth in the CocoLimo if you like.
jacksmom09 Posted January 10, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Can you book this in advance?
Redgem Posted February 8, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2014 We just got off a RCCL cruise on Feb 7 2014 and had booked a cabanette while on Coco Cay. The cabanettes are on the far side of the island. You stop at the information booth where the tenders dock and take a tram to the secluded area. They provide 2 bottles of water and a fruit plate. The tram will also take back to the main area for lunch at the regulat buffet. You cannot get the upgrade lunch at the cabanas. You can walk down the beach or take the tram to the area wheather you book the cabanette or not. There are many shady areas with chaise cahirs in the area for anyone's use. Basically you are paying $50 for 2 bottles of water and a fruit plate.
