I go in a week-I've cruised two of her sister ships, the Sensation, and the Fascination, and the Legend twice, but I broke out of my Florida ports mold and I am heading to Mexico on the Elation. What have you found to be SO GREAT about the Elation?

I have been on Elation - 3 times

I like the way you can get around the ship, easy to manuever.

The food was pretty good.

Staff was amazing.

Ports - Cozumel - What can you say?? Good port

Progresso - mixed comments from many, it is what you make it

Elation is a beautiful ship

Thank you. The pictures look beautiful, and I have an excursion to Uxmal in Progreso. and will get a day pass at El Cid. I have read that the staff is incredible on the Elation, but the food not so great. I dont know what people are ordering or eating to give that comment. Oh well, I guess i will find out in a week.

There are very few reviews of the Elation, so it's been hard to discover anything, kinda like a secret ship. LOL

I have sailed Elation 5 times.

Elation is the prettiest of the Fantasy class that I have been on.

Elation does a really good past guest party.

And the food in the buffet is actually good, especially if you get there as they are putting out dinner.

The serenity area is okay.

I try to slip out there and get a good chair fairly early.

Sitting on the serenity deck of Elation with a Long Island tea watching cars cross the bridge before sailaway is a totally relaxing and I know then that I am actually on vacation!

If you have any specific question I will try to answer it.

We were on the Elation last October. It's a beautiful ship, easy to maneuver around without getting lost. The staff on board is very attentive to your wants and needs and the food was amazing. We loved hanging out in the piano bar as well as the bar right outside of the casino... they made us some awesome drinks there. We just booked the Elation again for next October. Have fun on your cruise!

My family was just on the Elation for the first time in November. We had the best time! It never seemed like the ship was crowded, and the staff was the best. We had a cabin right next to the aft stairs and elevators on the upper deck. Quiet, but convenient to everything. Can't wait to sail again ,

We sailed her last week. The atrium area is beautiful (she was all decked out for the holidays when we were on her). It was definitely easy to figure out how to get around, very well laid out. The food was wonderful at breakfast and lunch in the dining room, however dinners were nice, but the food itself at dinnertime was just so-so. The lady comedian was hysterical, my side hurt after her show. I have nothing but praise for the staff, they all went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our vacation.

Booked on her again for later this year! Enjoy your vacation!
