Casablanca

I am going on the Moorish Delights cruise and intend going on one of the ship's excursions in Casablanca. After reading about all the hassle you can receive wondered if going on an excursion stops some of this or is it just as bad.

Hi Molly, We went on the trip to Rabat and it was very good. Can recommend that :)

I agree with Linda. we were on that same trip when she was there. It was the only trip we did as I did not feel happy wandering about Casablanca. Also there didn't seem much there to amuse us. So go to Rabat.

It was a good trip wasn't it? Especially as the driver got back a bit early and took us to see Rick's cafe and the mosque. I think they are probably the only things to see in Casablanca :eek::D

But don't you think that his friend the postcard seller didn't "just happen to be there" selling this cards outside the mosque. I think it was all planned that he turn up at the same time we were there. We bought a packet. They looked like they had been copied from a pc onto cheap card. But okay for the price I expect!!

Thank you all for your replies. Rabat does look a very good excursion, I had thought just to do the Casablanca tour but now have second thoughts and will have to decide again.

Thanks to this forum and from what I have read on here before, we are going to book the Rabat trip - it does sound good :)
