Changing Nail Polish

I plan to get a manicure/pedicure before I leave, but..... you know how it is! Does the ship have a nail salon that you can just go in and get a polish change? I am asking about JOS but I am sure that they all are the same about this sort of thing. If there is a salon, would you need an appointment just for a polish change? Does anyone know the charge for something like this?

There is a salon and you will need an appointment. There are other posts on this board where you can find spa services pricing including manicures. :)

Its pretty pricey for just a polish change. Just my opinion.

I thought it was expensive just for a polish change to so i said ta' heck with it, i will get a mani... still lots more expenisive than at home.

I either bring my own polish when I get my M&P, or I buy one there if I like a new color. Then, I bring it with me on the cruise for touch ups if necessary..The prices onboard are a little excessive

I bring one of those travel size swipe off nail polish removers (dip your finger into the sponge kind) and my color..this way touch ups are easy!! Manicures can get expensive on the ship...

I always bring one of those little bottles of polish remover with the spongy thing inside and re polish my nails myself. I think it is like $25 for a polish change and you will have to make your appointment right when you get on the ship for choice times.

Just before we left on the Voyager on July 10 we had french manicures done at the nail salon near my home - it was $12.00. On board the ship, I stopped in at the salon and asked how much a french manicure was, and it was $44.00. Fortunately we carried our own polish with us for touchups, but never needed it. I can think of a lot better ways to spend my money then in an overpriced rip-off salon.

Good idea about the French Manicure, it goes with everything! Touch ups should be easy.

I had a re-polish (fingernails only) on the Serenade last fall. I think is was $15 (plus a generous tip). They got me right in and it was very nice. She even did my makeup and plucked my brows. DH even noticed! On NCL this spring it was $27.95, that is too much!
