Cas/pcc

Long story short, I hope. Last year cruised using CAS, every time we called we spoke with the same PCC. Right from the start we had his name and extension. Picked up certificate last weekend in AC. We were told we could communicate with our same PCC and the people at the event knew who we were talking about. Called today and was told he was no longer with company. The girl I spoke with said she would help us but she did not have an extension number and every time we call we would just speak with who ever answered the call. Does not sound right to me. Not to mention prices that we quoted seem to have doubled from last year (upgrade, port fee and taxes) even though cruise price seems to have dropped $500 per person from same cruise last year. Does all this sound correct or am I missing something?

Lynn, if you have a casion credit you'll have to call the casino department. If you need a new PCC, you can use mine if you want, he is good.

That sounds completely normal for CAS. Generally, CAS agents will NOT give out their extensions to everyone who calls, they will say they are not permitted to (im not sure this is true), and then you have to just take whomever you get each time you call. Every time you need to contact CAS and get another agent, ask again. Eventually you will find someone willing to give out their extension number, especially if you hit it off with them or they find you "valuable" enough to them. Its a pain to find a new one, but worth the time it takes to take a good one (I have lost several over the years). My two current agents have come from repeated emails to me from them directly, "recruiting" me for another sailing, including extension numbers and direct email addresses, and I know they get some sort of credit for my bookings (I have been told by both). Just keep trying until you get one you hit it off with..

If you cruised with CAS, you most probably did NOT have a personal PCC. Not sure what happened there. What sort of discount or comp did you get?

Dealing with the next available person at CAS has been the normal process for many years as I understand it.

The first time I booked thru CAS, I was given the extension of my contact. She is very good and booked me a comped haven suite for March!

Be nice, appreciative and the person will be glad to give his/her extension number to deal with you in the future...

We are on our second time booking through CAS. We were directed to a PCC during the process on the first cruise and he is still assisting us. We aren't comped, just discounted for Caesar's Platinum. He has been very helpful and pleasant to deal with...

Anyone that gets a comped Haven is in the high roller category.
