Last time we cruised out of Puerto Rico they had a liquor store at the port that you could buy bottles of alcohol and carry onto the ship. Does anyone know if they still allow that? We have a stop in Puerto Rico and were wondering if this available.

The ability to bring alcohol onboard the ship (either at embarkation or at port stops) is dependent on each cruiselines policy. All are different. Some do not allow hard liquor, others will allow it. Some will hold any alcohol brought onboard (duty-free) and return it to you the last night of the cruise, while others let you bring your alcohol directly to your room to be drunk as you see fit. You need to check with your particular cruiseline what their policy is.
