Great site! Thank you. Any special tips to avoid the pickpockets? Does this include purse snatchers as well?

 

Yes! Don't keep anything in your pockets! I take the very minimum off the ship--Kleenex, lip gloss--and I keep my seapass, a credit/debit card and some spending money in a pouch that I wear under my clothes. It's amazing how freeing it is. You really have to pare it down. I see women carrying huge purses off the ship for a port day--what on earth could be in there that you couldn't be without for a few hours???

 

Also, be aware of your surroundings at all times and try not to look too much like a confused tourist. ;)

Hi. I really enjoy photography. Will it be a problem with pickpockets if I carry around my large Canon camera?
