Scuba diving Grand Turk, short day

Our ship will only be in port from 1:00 to 6:00 next month. The 2 tank dive excursion offered by the cruise line, Costa keeps selling out on their website. Don't want to be on a cattle boat, is there some where close by where the ships dock that we can get to on our own for an afternoon 2 tank dive?

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

We dove/snorkeled with GT Diving both times we were there.

 

In your case, since you have a short time in port, you might as well go with the ship excursion, as they'll have transportation, and get you back in time.

 

There are 3 main dive shops at Grand Turk, and they're on the same street, with GT Diving the first one (right at the corner at the start of the street), and right by the Osprey hotel.

 

It's expensive there.
