Cabo versus Ship time?

I apologize if this has been asked before; but, can anyone who has been to Cabo recently tell me if Cabo observes the same time as ship time? We are scheduled to dock at 9:00am. Trying to work times out for shore excursions. Thank you in advance.

The first night we boarded before PV we had to turn our watches ahead one hour (9-10). After we left Cabo we turned them back (10-9).

If the ship time in Cabo is 9 am, then it will be 10 am local time. When they go to PV, ship will set their time one hour ahead, but you will still be one hour behind local time in PV. Crazy sounding, but that is the way Carnival ships do the Mexican Riviera.

Ship leaves Long Beach on Pacific time, Cabo is on mountain time one hour ahead, PV is on central time 2 hours ahead of Pacific time. The ship will stay on PT when porting in Cabo. The ship will move it's time one hour ahead when porting in PV, leaving ship time still one hour behind local time.

Hope this helps.
